Oh, wow. That took a while. Next time I write a full essay , I’ll need to make sure I’m almost a whole week ahead. Maybe more, depending on the texts. If you appreciate the fact that I stayed up to finish this, please let me know in the comments. Anyway. One of the texts was one I wanted to use in Year 12 for my belonging essay assessment, but as it was part of a series, the teacher was worried I wouldn’t be able to separate it from the other books. Hollyleaf’s Story has a lot of information from the rest of the series in flashbacks, but I’m not looking at more than what is mentioned in those flashbacks and in the present.   Okay, so I’d written part of this essay before my break. I finished it last week.   Unfortunately, I was a little ill on Sunday and Monday. I’m getting this blog up this week, and hopefully can start on next week’s post too.   I’ve got a slightly longer essay planned for next week. It’ll be a full one rather than a summary essay . This is the last short story in the Warriors Field Guide: Secrets of the Clans. I immensely enjoy the legends of the great cats. They are some of my favourite short stories out of this guidebook. This particular short story is also one of the longer ones in the Warrior Cat guidebooks.  So, to satisfy our curiosity, let's dive into the final story from the original Warriors guidebook and see what depth it contains. Some people use deceit to trick others into doing things they would otherwise not attempt. The fallout of the deceived actions can be a source of guilt, causing the deceiver to give up more than if they had been truthful.   Hey. I’m back.   I did put an update on my Patreon about why I haven’t been posting for so long, and there’ll be more information in my July Newsletter . The short answer is, due to health issues (and an error in a hospital’s system increasing wait times), I have been off my ADHD medication. That caused issues whenever I was doing activities alone, like writing and typing.   I seem to be well now, so my doctor and I will be seeing how things go.
