Some people may forget or disregard what they know through overconfidence in their skills. No matter how good your natural skills are, you should never underestimate your enemy. Sunpelt already knew ‘snakes are cunning and will outwit us every time’, but believed his abilities would allow him to subdue Mouthclaw.
