I always really enjoyed the second part of this trilogy and Sasha’s life as ‘Brownie’. As a result, I’ve read Tigerstar and Sasha several times over. Do you guys like this series?
The central theme in Tigerstar and Sasha is finding where you belong. Someone may have a place in the world where they feel happy and content, but things can change, and they can lose this. It can be challenging to find a new home where they belong. Sasha loses her place in the world when her housefolk leave. Sasha feels she is no longer a kittypet and goes to live in the forest. Sasha gets lonely and considers joining Tigerstar in ShadowClan until she learns what he is plotting. Sasha leaves the forest and stays with a captain of a cruise company for a while, but she is not a kittypet and takes her kits to RiverClan to be raised by them, where they belong.
The main character in the graphic novel trilogy is the protagonist, Sasha, who’s journey of self-discovery is the main plot of the story. Each book has a different main antagonist. In Into the Woods, it is Tigerstar who plans to take over all the clans, in Escape From the Forest it is the new Luxury Cruise Boat Company who endangers the captain who looks after Sasha and takes his business. Lastly, in Return to the Clans, the main antagonists are the cats of ShadowClan who Sasha feels will take her kits from her and raise the as ShadowClan warriors.
