Pinestar's Choice - Summary

Sorry, about the late update. Time for the summary essay of Pinestar’s Choice, the second book in the Legends of the Clans collection.
This piece explores the loyalty you show to a person, or group, each time you make a decision. If you think I’ve made a mistake or missed anything, comments and critiques are very welcome.
The first paragraph looks at the theme of the novella, the second covers the main character, and the final one lists the main situations.

Pinestar’s Choice looks at how loyalty is reflected in every choice we make. Our choices reflect our loyalty to our friends, family, and others. Pinepaw’s loyalty is tested after he is saved by a kittypet. He later shows disloyalty by lying to his clanmate saying that he saw nothing, after letting the kittypet and her kits go, during a raid on twoleg place. Once he becomes leader, he is absent from his clan and goes to twoleg place. He looks to the kittypets there to advise him on running his clan, instead of his medicine cat or deputy. He doesn’t feel he can speak to his clanmates about his troubles. His loyalty to twolegs causes him to go live with them.
The main character in the novella is the protagonist, Pinestar, who’s point of view drives the story. A few minor antagonists crop up throughout the story, but Pinestar’s Choice does not contain a main villain. All the other characters contained within the novella, play only minor or incidental roles in the story.
The main situations in Pinestar’s Choice follow: Pinepaw is an apprentice of ThunderClan. Pinepaw helps drive off ShadowClan invaders. Pinepaw is saved from a fox by a kittypet. Pinepaw sees the same kittypet in a raid on twoleg place and lets her go. Pinestar is horrified that a cat is killed in a battle with WindClan. As Goosefeather had an omen suggesting the attack, Pinestar's trust in him fades. Pinestar starts visiting twoleg place. One of his kittypet friends is killed. Watching her house folk, he feels the clans have forgotten how to grieve and leaves to be a kittypet.

We must all remember to look at our actions before we act and see who we’re showing loyalty to. Is it the people we want?
