The Blazing Star - Summary Essay

First, I want to apologise sincerely and profusely for my lack of updates for the past few weeks. The first week I had a cold which had my bran capacity down to a point where I couldn’t tell the main character from a minor! Shortly after my depression became worse than it’s ever been and getting up each day just to eat was a challenge, but I’m finally fighting back enough to start working again. I’ll be back to regular weekly updates.

So without further ado, here is the summary essay for the fourth book in the prequel arc Dawn Of The Clans, The Blazing Star.

book cover of Warriors: Dawn of the Clans: The Blazing Star

The main theme in The Blazing Star is trust. It looks at when to place your trust in others, and what happens when someone's trust is broken. Tall Shadow and Grey Wing ask the three cats that want to join their group at the beginning of the book several questions before allowing them to come back with them. It is not until the whole group trusts them that they also tell them about the spirit cats. Clear Sky, on the other hand, asks little of the two cats who join his group beyond what can they offer him and his cats. This makes it easy for One eye to later betray him. Thunder allows his feelings for Star Flower to guide his trust in her, which makes it easy to get information about his group's plans and movements to take back to her father. When he realises her betrayal, Thunder sends her away from the moor forever.
The main characters in this book are as follows: Thunder is the protagonist. One Eye is the antagonist. Clear Sky acts as the catalyst for many of the turning points in the book.
The main situations in The Blazing Star are: Wind Runner and Gorse Fur leave Tall Shadow and Grey Wing’s group. One Eye ad Tom join Clear Sky’s group. Sparrow Fur is almost killed and Grey Wing moves to River Ripple’s island. Thunder meets Star Flower. Grey Wing returns to the hollow on the moor. The three other goops join together to defeat One Eye. This covers all the main situations that occur in the book.
