Hey there my lovely readers! This is the summary essay for the Bonus Scene of book four of the Dawn Of The Clans arc, The Blazing Star. This bonus scene looks at what is happening back in the mountains.
The main theme in the bonus scene of The Blazing Star is spirit. The story looks at what kind of spirit you have, what your driving force in life is. Sun Shadow has an adventurous spirit. He longs to see what lies beyond the mountains and follow the path his father took. His driving force is detached from the confines of tribe life, and Stoneteller recognises that he will never truly be happy there. Quiet Rain’s driving force is her family. Her spirit is strongly tied to her kits, whom she misses every day. She escapes the tribe with Sun Shadow, to be with the kits of hers that are still alive again.
The main characters in this story are the protagonist Sun Shadow, and the antagonist Sharp Hail. All the other characters mentioned are minor or incidental.
The main situations in the story are: Sun Shadow is exploring a rift in a cliff. He gets back to the cave late and is punished by Sharp Hail with looking after Stoneteller. Stoneteller tells Sun Shadow that he will leave the tribe, and the mountains. Sun Shadow escapes with Quiet Rain to follow the sun trail, and find where the others made their home.
