Here is my summary for the final book in The Omen Of The Stars arc, book six, The Last Hope.
The main theme running throughout The Last Hope is destiny. The characters are constantly wondering what their destiny is and how it ties into the upcoming battle, fighting against their destiny, or asking themselves and StarClan ho much control they have over their own destiny. Cinderheart spends a large portion of the book doing both medicine cat and warrior duties, feeling as though she may need to be a medicine cat like Cinderpelt, before realising her second chance was given because her destiny is to become a warrior, which is what makes her happy. Lionblaze fights against his destiny because he believes it keeps him from being with Cinderheart, but later realises although his destiny is laid out for him, he still has a choice in all other parts of his life. Ivypool works hard during the battle to convince every Dark Forest trainee that their destiny is in their own paws, and they do not have to fight against the clans.
The main characters in this book are the protagonists Jayfeather, Lionblaze, and Dovepaw, Ivypool, who is their spy in the Dark Forest, and the other ThunderClan cats training in the Dark Forest. Firestar, as the fourth cat in the prophecy, and Hollyleaf, as Jayfeather and Lionblaze's returned sister, are also important in the second half of the book. The other main characters are the Dark Forest cats as a group, the Dark Forest trainees, and Breezepelt.
The main situations in the book are Ivypool does her best to learn all she can about the upcoming battle, Dovepaw starts seeing Tigerheart a night again. Jayfeather unites the medicine cat. Then the medicine cats get their leaders to meet to unite the clans against the Dark Forest. Dovewing realises she can hear what is going on in the Dark Forest and uses that to find out when the attack is. Ivypool convinces all the Dark Forest trainees excepting Breezepelt to fight on the side of the clans. At the end of the book the ancient cats and StarClan manifest around the lake and join the fight to defeat the Dark Forest.
