Twilight - Summary Essay

Rereading Twilight surprised me. I thought Leafpool and Crowfeather's forbidden romance went over two books. Then I got towards the end, and they ran away together. It's so random.
They do build up to it in other books. When it happens, though, all the plans seem like split-second, spur of the moment decisions. The only thing either of them seems to think about properly is Leafpool when Crowfeather asks her to leave with him.
There were several either life-altering or possibly life-altering decisions that neither of them thought about at all!
I know when you have these emotions, you're not always reasoning. Most people still take time with things that involve enormous consequences if you get caught. Or things that mean the equivalent of breaking the law. Or things that could change your entire world.
I don't think I have a problem with them on the whole. And we have to accept Leafpool and Crowfeather's relationship seeing as the three came as a result of it. I feel their relationship itself was rushed, and a little nonsensical.
Love them or hate them though, LeafxCrow is what we have. What do you think of them?

Here is the summary essay for the fifth book in The New Prophecy arc, Twilight.

book cover for Warriors: The New Prohecy: Twilight (old style)

Twilight's theme is not to let what you know to cloud your judgement. This is held by true the famous quote "logic is a systematic method of coming to the wrong conclusion with confidence. What someone knows can influence their judgement or actions. Squirrelflight doesn't delve into what is upsetting her sister, because she is preoccupied with the thought that Brambleclaw may be untrustworthy. Cinderpelt doesn't let the knowledge of her death cause her to force Leafpool to stay. Only by going with Crowfeather does Leafpool learn where her heart lies.
The main characters in the book are the two protagonists whose point of view is shown to the reader, Leafpool and Squirrelflight. Crowfeather plays the most significant role in Leafpool's journey, and Brambleclaw plays the most substantial role in Squirrelflight's journey. Both of these characters play indirect and direct antagonistic roles in the story. The other characters in Twilight are minor or incidental. There are no other main characters.
The main situations in the book are: Cinderpelt learns when she will die. Leafpool is preoccupied with thoughts of Crowfeather. Squirrelflight notices that something's bothering Leafpool, but is preoccupied with Brambleclaw and Ashfur. Mothflight tells Leafpool she doesn't believe in StarClan. Leafpool worries she is losing her connection to StarClan because she fell in love. Feathertail gives Leafpool a warning for Mothflight. When the danger comes, Leafpool goes to help RiverClan. Crowfeather asks her to leave with him. She consults StarClan and agrees. After Midnight warns them about a badger attack, they return to the clans and end their relationship.
